Ipé
HardwoodIpé is known as the most durable hardwood species in the world. With durability level 1, these boards remain intact for 25 to 40 years and thus makes it the best terrace wood on the market. Ipe has a beautiful colour shade and absorbs relatively little moisture and dirt, making them low maintenance.

- Workability
- Due to its higher volumic mass, it is more difficult to process and it will quickly dull cutting tools. For example, it is recommended to always pre-drill your ipé wood and to use small planing angles when cross grain occurs. Gluing is difficult due to the volumic mass.
